N4C - $100,000 Age of Empires Tournament
The competitive scene for Age of Empires has had many ups and downs over the year but many community leaders like Nili are here to keep it alive. He has announced the N4C which will feature an 8 person LAN event for Age of Empires that will take place March 5th - March 13th. The event will also feature a whooping $100,000 prize pool with the champion taking home $30,000 alone.
The event will feature a 5 round Swiss-system style format where all players will be pinned against each other to move onto the championship bracket. The top 2 players in this phase will move onto the semi finals while the middle 4 will battle it out in round 1. The remaining 2 players are eliminated from the competition.
Players will be able to qualify in 1 of 2 online qualifiers to join the action in March. The top 3 players from each will join TheViper and DeMusliM who pre-qualified from GENESIS and SteelSeries Prime Cup. The 2022 season of Age of Empires is underway and many are excited to see who will reign king.
