APAC South : 1st Dreamfire - 2nd Reignite - 3rd Team Burger

Split 2 Playoffs

The 2nd split of the Apex Legends Global Series was delayed for a handful of reasons, the most recent delay was caused by the current crisis happening in Ukraine. Due to what is currently happening EA and Respawn Entertainment decided to remove players and organizations based in Russia and Belarus from its esports program.

The other 4 regions have already started and some have even finished, including North America where we saw Sentinels dethrone TSM for the top spot. Followed behind by NRG, Esports Arena and G2 Esports. At the end of the EMEA Split 2 we will see the top 10 teams from North America, South America and EMEA join the top 5 of both APAC regions in the Split 2 playoffs. Split 2 playoffs will be a in person event sporting a prize pool of 1 million dollars total.

ALGS Championship

After the Apex Legends Global Series Split 2 Playoffs we will see the best 30 teams in the world by pro points qualify for the ALGS Championship. This event will also feature 10 teams from the last chance qualifier to make a 40 team finals taking place in June of this year. Not much information has yet to be released about the ALGS Championship due to the uncertainty of whether the event will be in person or forced to be online like split 1.
